I thought variety is the spice of life, so why is marriage an exception. At every point in life, going for varieties always seem super amazing. For example, having to choose from multiple outfits, shoes and even handbags makes going out exciting. Imagine waking to the same outfit every single day (we can’t stop fasting and praying for another). This seems not to be the case of human relations as we have been told to be stuck with one person for the rest of ones life, all in the name of relationship/marriage. Monotony the last time I checked can be tiring and boring. It feels like repeating the same routine over and over again. I think I want out or better still can cheating be legalised so we can be opened to several options, if you know what I mean. Hmm, these thoughts ran through my head and left me pondering why the great Divinity would prefer one to one and not the usual. Good evening dearies. How are you and how was your day? So something happened today that I would love to share with you all. So I was waiting for a taxi that would take me to work this morning but it seemed taxi drivers  had taken a vacation as I wasn’t the only one waiting. We waited for 15 mins and not one came along. Ultimately, one of them decided to take a break and come help us out. You can imagine the rush that followed. As soon as the car stopped, I quickly contemplated following the other door as I knew everyone would rush towards the one closest to us.  But before I could execute the plan, someone else had overtaken me and I had to wait for another taxi. LIVING A PROSPEROUS LIFE Prosperity is relative. Prosperity to some is been wealthy, some it’s having good success, some, funny enough is having good health and so on and forth. All these are all good definitions of prosperity. Now let’s get biblical view of the word prosperity or to be prosperous. According to law of first mention when the word prosperous was used (Genesis 24:21) it was referring to a journey, whether it was successful or not then also in Joshua 1:8, ........you shall make your way prosperous and you shall have good success. It also had nothing to do with financial blessings. So it means to be prosperous is far beyond financial breakthrough. It refers to every thing around you, your education, marital life, spiritual and all round even financial because when John the beloved was speaking  in 3 John 1:2.....wish that thou mayest prosper even as thy soul prospers. Character and friendship So my friend has been on my tail for this article. It’s been one i have been running from, can’t say why though but let’s see what happens. Let’s start with friendship, what is friendship? I choose to call it a union of two or  more persons who has found a connection, share similar goals and enjoy each other’s company. While character on the other hand has to do with the behaviour  of an individual either good or bad. Character in its own, I think, has a lot to do with helping us pick our friends. When choosing our friends, although they choose us most times, we find out that we have similar behaviours, likes, and attitude with our friends be it males or females. We end up with these folks because like they say “like magnets repel and unlike magnets attracts” we can only enjoy their company, spend several hours with them, have several chit chat because we are “birds of a feather”. “I WANT TO TEACH MY CHILD SEX”.......a statement like this is hardly heard in this part of the world so, imagine the look on my friends face when she saw me reading a book with that title. Sex of all things to teach your child,............well yea SEX. I believe this book is of very great importance because; Sex is a word that cannot be done away with especially in this part of the world. It’s found in almost every lyrics, most novels and also lips of teens. So if you don’t talk about it be sure your kids would learn about it either way. The topic sex is taught from various beliefs and different perspectives. What you would consider not appropriate might actually be a “no big deal for the next person” so am sure you would want to be careful the kind of perspective your child presents with.
