“What Would Jesus Do” was a phrase I heard in my teenage before I saw the book which was really exciting as it contained majorly stories of teenagers with one issues or another and how they were reminded to stop at some point in these worry moments to ask themselves What would Jesus do(WWJD) and at that point most of them got a new light to their challenges.
You may say it sounds a bit like a cliche or a fairytale movie but one thing I know for a fact is that God’s presence changes everything. His voice calms the storm and His love heals the broken hearted and I believe strongly that if He did it before he can do it again. So even if WWJD sounds like a cliche, I choose to believe it because I know that what He Would Do Would CHANGE EVERYTHING.
OUR GOVERNOR AND OUR GOD
I went to a secondary school yesterday that was to be commissioned by the governor. Unfortunately he didn't come but his deputy did and after the commissioning was swarm by people raring to take pictures with him. Trust naija babes (yours sincerely inclusive), I was at the front row of the picture and when he was about leaving, he turned and shook my hand. Next a thought came to me, 'what if he had asked a question like, what do you want me to do for you ...and what would my reply have been.' Right there and then, i scanned through and found that sincerely, the only needs running through my mind were the "I" needs; personal things. Nothing about how to affect others, communities and basically most of them were just so small for him to do. Then i said to myself, 'If an ordinary man could feel this way, how much more our heavenly father who can supply all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus; for personal needs are just too minimal, they are just...
