LOVE
The word Love.
The word love has indeed as most pe
ople will say been over emphasised. Every now and then there is a write up on love telling us the meaning and what it does. But forgive if me if I don’t toll the regular path.
Love can mean different things to do many persons, some call it a feeling, some call it an act, some call it chemistry, some say it’s magical and some are yet to find a definition because the can’t explain it and yes a believer would call it God.
The word love indeed is vast and somehow, somewhat can’t be fully talked about but I just want to bring this light to it. Love is not a feeling neither is it something you stumble or fall into.
#Love is a deliberate action and a choice to choose someone as or above yourself without seeking any personal interest. Love doesn't have to revolve around a particular set of persons (family, friends and even the special one) before it is shown, and it doesn't even need to be a special setting before it is appreciated. Love can be seen in the little things we do, how we reach out to our next door neighbours even street sellers.
When we hear the word Love, we are quick to think of our relationships and beyond that is our families and friends.
But like my friend would say, how about we take a pause and really think about how the originator of love would have us love. Sometimes there are actions we portray and people see them as love but it isn’t really love because love is in the motive behind the things we do and not just the things done.
How about a polite response from you to the guy calling you at the market and asking for patronage. A simple “not today” would have been better rather than the rude look or insulting words rendered. All he is looking for remember, is patronage.
I really pray God opens our heart and minds and teaches the essence and the how to really love and not just to the assumed few but every one in total.
#Phavie loves you😍😍😍
