“Trust and Obey” is one of my favourite hymns and one phrase easily heard in church but let’s take a pause and really look at the word TRUST and OBEY . TRUST is complete dependence on someone or something while OBEDIENCE is complete submission. These two words holds the key to complete happiness in Christ according to the psalmist but then if we truly look at it we would find that indeed it does. Happiness can truly be found in Christ if we complete depend on Him and obey His word to the latter. Sometimes when we don’t find the happiness, it is either because we trust without obedience, or we obey nonchalantly. We believe what He says He will do but we are not willing to do what he has said we should do and sometimes when we do, it’s just to fulfil all righteousness but not trusting in our heart. We unconsciously fix alternatives because of our doubts. When working with God, we need to fix our complete resolve in Him knowing that “He will never leave us nor forsake us and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” When we truly and wholeheartedly trust and obey, you would sure find God’s word living through you and joy will always be found in your heart. #Trust and Obey #Lovinglife360
